Nouveau : Bridgestone BT-023, bien plus touring que sportif
Bridgestone renouvelle son pneumatique de sport-tourisme le BT 021 par le BT 023. Annoncé plus performant sur chaussée mouillée et plus endurant que son prédécesseur.
Les GT (Yamaha FJR 1300, BMW R 1200 RT…) disposent d’une version spécifique du BT-023 (uniquement dans les dimensions 120/70×17 et 180/55×17, ce qui exclut la Honda Pan European 1300). Cette « spec » répond à la double problématique induite par ces motos : poids élevé et effets aérodynamiques des carénages. Le pneu avant délaisse l’enroulement filamentaire à 0° pour une ceinture à nappes croisées plus classique, mais plus rigide. De plus, le dessin des sculptures est enrichit d’une rainure centrale permettant d’augmenter la surface de contact avec le sol. Quant au pneu arrière, sa carcasse est « simplement » renforcée d’une ceinture supplémentaire pour mieux supporter les contraintes de masse. Lire la suite
